BarryM Aquarium - Arabian

BarryM Arabian is from the newest BarryM collection called Aquarium its is aGreen/Gold Duo-chrome, and well i didn't do a very good job at catching that, i took my photos with a flash which made it look almost a foil polish......i did find it hard to catch the Gold flash running through it.....i should of took some daylight shot.

The collection is 4 duo chrome polishes and 3 glitter toppers, the theme is obviously sea related lol, i was thinking mermaid tail.....

I found it runny so thin layers is he way to go and build it up....i done 3 coats but felt like it needed a 4th eeekkkk i also expected brush strokes but i didn't get any when i done thin layers, you do get some if you go thicker...but i heard if you put this over a plain black creme, you only need one layer and the effect shows up much better...so il try that next time.

All in all i do like them, they last well, i got over 10 days with no chipping and it was still going strong but i decided to change my Mani, I'm looking forward to trying the others.

Sinful Colors Snow me white and Claires Splatter Effect - Ferris Wheel & Sequins

Ive been in to the Neon toppers lately, so many Indie makers have been selling some Awesome Neon chunky glitter toppers and poor little me cant afford to pay for the international shipping, so i was so happy to see that Claire's Accessories had some really neat Neon polishes.

Unfortunately, the Claire's shop we have in town is unloved and they don't update with any of the new product Ive seen on line.....So i had to order these off the site, which i didn't mind to much cuz if my the Claire's did sell them it would of cost me £5 petrol to get there, and well postage was £3 so i saved money by getting them on line YEY for me.....

I started off with a plain White under wear....and i used Sinful colours Snow me white, which i have to say I'm pretty impressed with, id been looking for a one coat-er white and i asked in  my Polish Group Lacquer Lane {The Face book Group}for any suggestions and well this one came up a lot and i can See why, although it wasn't a one coat white for me, i can see how it would be for some people, so it gets the thumbs up from me.

The Neon Toppers at first i thought where a clear polish but there is a slight tinge to them...but i think that's more a bleed from the glitter its self,????but i Loved how they looked and i got lots of compliments on my Mani and people asking where i got the polish, IL defiantly use these again, especially the green/yellow one.

So my Boyfriend never knows what to gift me on special occasions like Christmas and my Birthday, so he normally just gives me money, this year i decided id keep hold of it and when i could, id put towards to buy a new Kindle Fire because the one i have is so over used its time to get a newer one (Love my Kindle Fire) how ever I've had a lot of personal things happen of late that i wont go into but i needed a HUGE pick me up and my go to for that is Nail Polish so i decided what the heck IL just spend the money Kevin gave me, so off i went in to town and here is what i came home with.

I'm also or late been in to the big chunky toppers, and i seen the middle one on line and i needed to get it, but my Clairs didnt update there polish and only had old separated dusty polish, but today when i passed by i seen a new display with new polish and yey they had the Neon topper i wanted.

Ive never seen or heard of "Jess" nail polish but i spotted these is Pound Land, so for just £1 i thought it was worth having a look at them, and there was a large selection but only these ones caught my eye.

Ive had this polish for a while, i bought i due to the price and the fact it said it was limited, then when i got it i realised it was a matte polish, and well matte does not play well with my nails, it peels off me in one go in about an hour after i use it, but i thought id just top coat it like i do with all the Matter polish i have (Which isn't much)

I started off with a base coat by Seche.....that was a mistake, the polish just didn't want to go on, it had more bald spots then my boyfriend and that's a lot lol (sorry Kevin) i got frustrated and cleaned it all off because i couldn't get it to look smooth, but i tried again because i was going out that night and my top was a purple so i wanted my nails to match.....

The second time i had better luck, i didn't put a base coat on and i had no balding when i applied it, as always with matte polish it dried fast, and was touch dry in less then 5 minutes......for once it didn't peel of me and i was in love with how it looked.

For £1.50 from Avon id say that was a great deal, my only complaint is the bottles are small but for the price i guess i shouldn't be complaining.
