Hello! My name is Stephanie. Kellie invited me to do a guest post for her and I was so flattered! I wanted to try and do something special for you all.

This week there has been a lot of talk in my Facebook groups about Frankens. A franken is a homemade polish, the name came from everyone's favorite movie monster Frankenstein, and let me tell you we have some amazing frankeners out there if you are looking for unique polishes.

I have chosen to show you a polish from Amanda at Nerd Lacquer. It is called "It’s Just a Flesh Wound" and you can find it HERE.

This is one of those polishes that you may not look twice at in the bottle but the name should catch your eye. Once you put this polish on you will be hooked, it is the most amazing brown jelly with little bits of silver and red glitter along with a few bigger pieces of silver and red.

There are also a few large silver hexes thrown in for good measure. Application is a dream, I had full opacity in two coats for these pictures. Now on to the good stuff!

The first two pictures are in natural light and the last two are with flash. You can see the sparkle in this polish that really isn't that obvious in the bottle shot.

So if you are looking for something unique and different, or you are a geek at heart, look up Amanda at NerdLacquer at Etsy. You won't be sorry, International shipping is available.

Thanks so much to Kellie for letting me visit. See you soon!

My giveaway prizes from Destany

After Entering a give away over at Confessions of a Sarcastic Mom i never thought for a minute id ever win, but i did, wooo hooo for me lol, Desantys Blog is one that i read and visit more then others, i like her way of thinking and love how she writes her blog, the way she titles her posts always makes me smile....i know how hard it is to title a blog post and i think the fact she names them all "The one with" is cute.

My package arrived really fast, i was surprised when i came down for the post and it was there.....I wasn't sure what she would send me, i had said which give away package i liked most and that was the one with all Destanys Favourites, but there was other winners so i was excited when i opened it and seen id got the one i wanted.

Thank you so much Destany, i love them all but my fave has to be the China Glaze Shower together, but i also love the Wet n Wild Buffy the Violet Slayer, the names Awesome lol.

OPI Designer Series - Signature

I know I'm probably one of the last people to have this, but this is my first ever OPI Designer Series Polish, The only reason i don't own any is because i didn't like the price, and as i only ever seem to wear a polish once i try not to buy anything to expenses.

I got this one is a swap with my friend Raquel, she kindly offered to send it to me as i didn't own any, i looked up swatches and when i seen it was a pink i thought i might not like it because i go for darker colour's, but WOW I'm so pleased i have it.

The polish goes on like a dream, I painted my nails so fast because it was so easy to work with,  it dried really quickly, but then i feel all holographic polish dried quickly,  i done 2 layers which i thought was enough, but after i took the first photos, i realised it needed another coat, so 3 coats in total, depending on how light or dark you want it, because with each layer it does get darker.... how ever I wasn't to impressed with the length of time it lasted, i had to keep filling in chips in just after 2 days.

Its a conservative colour one for those who don't like in your face colour, or maybe you work somewhere that you cant wear bright shades, how ever the Holo in this still gives it that little wow factor and fun.

Todays little shopping haul.

I was up early today and was kinda bored so thought id pop in to town, which i don't do that often, but i had a few nail polishes i needed to go buy for a new swap with my gal pal Ruth, and i came across the last 3 bottle of Max Factor Fantasy Fire so i picked them up because Ruth wanted one and another lady asked me to get it for her to, and of course one for myself.

As the Max Factor minis are buy 2 get 1 free i picked up a couple more, i got Dazzling Blue and Moon Dust

I added a few more to my BarryM collection, i have every colour but i swapped some so wanted to add them back because i felt sad knowing my collection was missing a few lol of and Ruth wanted the Red Glitter.

Believe it or not, i didn't own any Accssorize polish the weird thing is, I've Never seen it on display in my super drug, yet when i ever i go in there is always a couple in the reduced, i don't know why when they don't stock it, but i took the 3 that was left, they were reduced to £2 each, I'm not sure what the normal rice is, so don't know if i got a bargain or not? i got 2 Super star and 1 Paparazzi

I got these for my next Give away, its gonna be a Glitter Give away when i reach the right amount to do one, which i hope is soon, maybe when i reach 550 followers....which might be a while lol
