Duri Rejuvacote, Reviewed again and Still love it.

So i have already done a little review on the wonders of Duri Rejuvacote...my thoughts haven't changed, I'm still a lover of this stuff, and here is why....

I got my nails to a length I've never had them before Yippee, they were long, and strong, and i took that for granted, i stopped being careful and because i wasn't used to the long length, id miss judge things and keep smashing my nails in to things.

As you can see my luck ran out and i stumbled sleepily and groggy to the loo through night for a tinkle and i reached out to pull the cord to switch the light on in the bath room and smashed my nails in to the door that was open when i went to bed, but somehow was closed when i went to go pee.

It took a bad knock, and it was unfix-able.....id already tea bag fixed my thumb nails 3 days previous cuz i knocked the edge off.

But please follow my 4 week journey to get my nails long again so below if the length they were and and broken nails, i decided to just file them all down ans start again.

So here they are, filed down ready to start again, I'm not to great at filing my nails when short, i over file and end up with a weird shape......

Below is one week after....already a lot of growth

Then this is week 2 or regrowth, they got long enough for me to shape them as i like then with a square tip.

Then BAZINGGA 4 weeks later they are a back to there long Strong self, and i did a simple french tip which i have not done in like for ever.......so judge for your self.....is the hype justified....HELL YEAH it is.

I no longer worry about if i break a nail as much as i used to, because i know in 4 weeks they will be back as long as ever.

First let me say sorry for the quality of these photos.....i have no excuse other then i was lazy and didn't take the care i normally do when taking my photos lol

Anyway i want to come tell you about a great Nail treatment polish called Duri Rejuvacote, the saying on their site is "from dying nails to..."nails to die for" and i never thought id ever say thins but that slogan is BANG on....

My good friend Rachel from Cherry Glam Girl told me about this after hearing about the good things herself, so i thought it wont hurt to try it, i have tried many other nail treatments with out success, but continued to use OPI Nail Envy even though i wasn't 100% happy with it, my nails would get to a certain length then snap, and after a stint of illness i lost all hope and hacked them off so short there wasn't even a tip to scratch my itch lol..... my nails wouldn't grow and when they did grow a little they would tear, snap and peel.

Rachel suggested giving the Duri a go, so i set out to find it on Ebay, it found it was more expensive in the UK then the USA, and i didn't purchase any at first, i didn't want to pay that much for something i was doubtful would work.

When i did buy some, i decided the best attack was to follow all the instructions, so i started out with clean nails, i applied 2 good thick layer on day one, then a thick layer every day for 7 days, then at the end of the week i cleaned it off and would start again i done this for 4 weeks and WOWZA my nails where strong and healthy looking and the best they have ever been since i stopped biting them, I'm so impressed i cant rave on enough about this stuff, so please if you have having problem nails, then give this a go and come back and tell me how right i was lol.

Please be adviced this had some pretty strong chemicals in it.....it is not 3 free

INGREDIENTS

Ethyl Acetate, butyl acetate, nitrocellulose, toluenesulfonamide/formaldehyde resin, isopropyl alcohol, n-butyl alcohol, trymethyl penthanyl, dissobutyrate, camphor, hydrolized wheat protein, hydrolyzed keratin, hydrolized soy protein, calcium pantothenate.

Urgh i broke my nails :(

I filed my nails down shorter because the sides stared to curl in and no matter what i did i couldn't fix them, i was happy with them once i had then all the same length and cleaned up, they went to long but not to short either, id say perfect and i was so happy i thought i might like to keep them at that length.

How ever Disaster struck and i broke the edge of my pointer finger on my left hand, i though hmmmm not to bad i can deal with that, then 10 minutes later i broke the other side off....i was like WTH, and i couldn't fix it....I have NEVER broken a nail in ohhhhh well over 12 months, so this is what i ended up with.......

See my pointer finger :( now to me it was VERY noticeable, it felt weird to me.

I want happy so i asked the girls in my nail polish group and they suggested filing them all down a little and i got carried away because i couldn't get a shape i was happy with and ended up doing a hack job and this is what I'm left with......Boy hand, I'm so upset, i don't want to paint my nails, i hoe this isn't the end of my obsession.

I know some of you may be saying "but they are not that short" but they look longer in the pic then they are in real life......Any suggestions on how i can grow them faster.....

My Bare Stained Nails.

A few people have asked me what my bare nails look like, and i always shy away from those questions, especially when someone asked to see them eeeekkkkkk but im being brave and here they are, as you can see they are stained, not have as pretty as when they are painted, and there is no way id go out anywhere with them naked and looking this way.

My index fingers always seem more stained, i use my index finger more so get a lot of crap under it more then others so thats why its the worst, also i dont know why but they go white on the ends? my mums or Sisters dont do that, my sisters look see through lol but thats what she gets for years of damage from where stick on fales.

Anyway ive given up on trying to clean them, ive tried everything and nothing works, well for me it doesn't, so unless i cut them off they will always be stained which is OK because il always have my nails painted lol

Naked Nails #1

 I went to visit my sister the other week and she commented on how my nails (Painted) looked like acrilic and not my own, i assured her they were all mine (i think she thought they were fake because up until about 9-10 months ago i was a avid biter, practically to the wick)she investigated and agreed they were mine lol.......My nephew over heard us and mentioned how ugly my nails were with out polish....i cant remember his exact words but it was to the effect of "you wanna see the state of then" so yes hands up my nails are SO bad with out polish i doubt il ever be able to get away with naked nails ever again unless i chop then off and well im not likely to be doing that any-time soon. If ANYONE has any good clean up methods and ive used a few.....Acetone, lime/Lemon juice, whitening toothpaste etc PLEASE contact me and let me know.
