Pick me up Haul.

So my Boyfriend never knows what to gift me on special occasions like Christmas and my Birthday, so he normally just gives me money, this year i decided id keep hold of it and when i could, id put towards to buy a new Kindle Fire because the one i have is so over used its time to get a newer one (Love my Kindle Fire) how ever I've had a lot of personal things happen of late that i wont go into but i needed a HUGE pick me up and my go to for that is Nail Polish so i decided what the heck IL just spend the money Kevin gave me, so off i went in to town and here is what i came home with.

BarryM Aquarium Collection - Treasure Chest - Pacific
 Mediterranean - Caspian - Arabian - Mermaid
I thought i was missing 2 but after looking on line it seems I'm not and i do have them all.

Claire's -  Ferris Wheel - Dizzy - Sequins
I'm also or late been in to the big chunky toppers, and i seen the middle one on line and i needed to get it, but my Clairs didnt update there polish and only had old separated dusty polish, but today when i passed by i seen a new display with new polish and yey they had the Neon topper i wanted.

Maybelline Crystallize Rose Chic & Red Excess (Textured)
Maybelline Street Artist - White Splatter & Boom box black

Loreal - Sequin explosion - Blue Reef - Beige Countess - Parisian Rooftops

Jess - Mink Coat - Hot Date - All Rock  that Jazz - Rock Chic - Atomic
Ive never seen or heard of "Jess" nail polish but i spotted these is Pound Land, so for just £1 i thought it was worth having a look at them, and there was a large selection but only these ones caught my eye.

BarryM Matte - Vanilla & Caramel

Bourjoir Matt Top coat

Avon color Trend - Soft Violet

Ive had this polish for a while, i bought i due to the price and the fact it said it was limited, then when i got it i realised it was a matte polish, and well matte does not play well with my nails, it peels off me in one go in about an hour after i use it, but i thought id just top coat it like i do with all the Matter polish i have (Which isn't much)

I started off with a base coat by Seche.....that was a mistake, the polish just didn't want to go on, it had more bald spots then my boyfriend and that's a lot lol (sorry Kevin) i got frustrated and cleaned it all off because i couldn't get it to look smooth, but i tried again because i was going out that night and my top was a purple so i wanted my nails to match.....

The second time i had better luck, i didn't put a base coat on and i had no balding when i applied it, as always with matte polish it dried fast, and was touch dry in less then 5 minutes......for once it didn't peel of me and i was in love with how it looked.

For £1.50 from Avon id say that was a great deal, my only complaint is the bottles are small but for the price i guess i shouldn't be complaining.

Lilypad Laquer - Berry Beautiful

Ive heard lots of great things about Lilypad Lacquer and i was eager to try it, but which do you choose? there is so many awesome shades and to choose one was a hard task, but i kept going back to this one, it made the short list and after looking at swatches i decided that this was the one i wanted.

I didn't use it straight away because my nails were short and i wasn't happy with them and i wanted to wear the polish when my nails were at a nice length.

So Berry Beautiful is a chocolate brown that kind of shifts between a Copper/Bronze/Gold colour with a scattered holo effect, those that know me know i love scattered holos, i much prefer them to the full on in your face holo.....and this fits that category.

Ive heard it been compared to Enchanted Polish's Autumn, but i personally think this one is prettier it have more holo in it...

Berry Beautiful to me was a little watery or thin, so it took a few layers to get it as opaque as id liked, but once i had it to the desired opaqueness (is that even a word lol) i was happy with it....because it did layer very well....it didn't end up looking all think on my nails.

It dried faster then i expected with 4 layers on it, and dried to a nice finish, i really do want to own more Lilypad Lacquer and I'm waiting on a group Custom so I'm excited for that and will be back with swatches.

Barry M Textured polish Countess

Countess is part of the Barrym Royal glitter textures, Autumn/winter 2013 collection and i have to say its my fave colour so far out of the 5 available, its hard to explain the colour? most would say Purple? but id personally say its a a deep Aubergine with flecks of Gold glitters, a lot of bloggers are saying the texture is that of the OPI liquid sand, but i do have a few of those and this texture to me is more like Jesses Girl Gundrops.

As with all textured polish it goes on SO well, honestly textured polish is my fave to apply, it take me no time to paint my nails and with no clean up it dries super fast to a rough feel, now of course you can topcoat it if you don't like that rough feel on your nails, which i generally don't.....but i also think to top coat it, changes the way it looks.....so i do feel its best to keep it as it is and try to deal with the feel of it....

Rimmel Space Dust - Moon Walking

Rimmel seem to be on the ball with whats hot in the polish world, normally it takes them a while to catch on and the fad has past by the time they bring out a new collections.

How ever they has impressed me with the new "Space Dust" collection, there is 5 colours in total, i do believe they are called ...Aurora, Luna Love, Shooting Stars, Total Eclipse and the one I'm wearing below is Moon Walking.....

I wasn't able to buy them all because there was only a few on sale in Asda (Walmart) where i came across them for £3.99 a bottle.......At first i thought they would just be like their "Precious Stones" polish, but how wrong i was.

Moon Walking is a really pretty purple I've seen other say its Lilac but I'm not on board with that lol, I'm gonna go for Lavender with little round and hexagon shaped gritty glitter, and I'm in love with Textured polish and well this is no different, i love it, as with all textured polish you don't get a smooth finish, so if you are like me get annoyed unless your polish is smooth as a babies but then you can top coat it and it still looks awesome.....

I choose to leave it as it was and after a while i got used to the feeling.....I wore this for 5 days with out any visible chipping or tip wear....but like all Textured polish i find its so easy to refill any chips, the texture in it really helps hide them, also it does on so easy and looks pretty sweet i think.

I cant wait to try the others, i hope they do get all the colours in Asda, if not i will have to venture in to town and get them.

So have you tried them? what do you think? and what is your favourite shade?
